DACA
Deferred Action for Children (DACA) was a policy enacted by President Obama for children brought to the US before their 16th birthday and have continuously resided in the US since June 15, 2007. DACA applicants must be either in school or have a high school diploma or GED certificate. In addition, the applicant must not have been convicted of a felony, serious misdemeanor, or more than 3 misdemeanors. DACA allows the applicant to work lawfully and apply for a driver license. It is important to continue to renew DACA and your work card.
The Burchinow Immigration Law Firm has successfully obtained DACA approval and work authorization for every applicant.
